Who Put The “Fancy” in Fancy Feast?
Nestle Purina Petcare Company is the manufacturer and distributer of this line of cat foods. Fancy Feast foods only come in dainty 3 oz. cans, featuring a convenient pop-top lid, and a recyclable aluminum can (which I appreciate as I strongly believe in recyling). Great care has been taken by this company to vary the textures offered as well as the flavor combinations. I wish I could say the quality consistently featured great care as well, but with the exception of a few flavors, all feature a few things that give me the fidgets…artificial flavors, by-products, soy protein concentrate to name a few. There are more and more lines of cat food which cater to a growing preference for human-grade, all natural, or even organic ingredients.
