Who receives the report of the audit findings?
Copies of the audit report are provided to the principal investigator, the investigator’s department/division chair and the IRB Executive Committee. The audit report lists both positive findings as well as areas in which problems were identified. In cases where problems are identified, the investigator is requested to provide clarifications to any questions raised as well as to develop a plan of corrective actions to eliminate the potential of the problem reoccurring in the future.
