Today, at the Long Island Association (LIA) Headquarters, NYLCV and LIA announced their joint legislative agenda for 2007. NYLCV and LIATogether the LIA and NYLCV are proposing a comprehensive agenda that: • Provides for economic development and the development of affordable workforce housing while preventing sprawl and preserving open space; • Protects our climate and plans for and addresses our future transportation and energy needs; and, • Safegaurds our natural resources and protects/improves the health of our citizens.
