Sauna and steam rooms are not advisable during pregnancy. People with hypertension or high blood pressure should consult a health practitioner before using these treatments. In addition, sauna is unsuitable for: • Those with hemorrhagic, clotting or bleeding disorder • Those who experienced an acute injury, as it will inhibit the subsiding of inflammation.
