Who should take responsibility for truck driving accidents?
The NSW Transport Workers Union is pushing for a Chain of Responsibility to be established that will force retailers to set more realistic transport deadlines for the delivery of produce. The move is in response to increasing pressure on truck drivers to meet what’s being described as ‘impossible’ deadlines. Other states are watching the NSW initiative closely.
