Who should use Computer Based Training (CBTs)?
• A Computer Based Training is geared towards those individuals who are Non-Procurement STRIPES users; however, all users are encouraged to participate. Non-Procurement STRIPES users have specially designed CBT courses. Examples of these users include, DOE Project Managers, Program Office Administration and Budget personnel, Business Clearance, Field Accounting, and Purchase Card Holders & Purchase Card Approving Officials just to name a few. The CBTs allow these and other users to revisit the on-line training as needed, and will remain available as new STRIPES users access the system. Upon completing CBT courses you should be able to define, identify and describe the benefits of using STRIPES and its roles, and most importantly perform one’s job effectively and efficiently within STRIPES.
