Who should we be feeling more sorry for this week—- Joe Nemechek or Bobby Labonte?
Jeff: Joe. Tom: That type of race was exactly the type Nemechek always wins. Major contenders all fall by the wayside, Joe just plays it steady, comes on late, and just pulls away from the pack. Toni: I go with Joe only because he left with a lot less to show for his efforts than Bobby did. Nikki: Well, Bobby Labonte deserved a win, too. Amy: I don’t feel sorry for either one of them…Bobby ran a great race and came up inches short. Joe just has bad luck. Amy: I do admit I feel a little strange because I was hoping for a caution so someone (anyone) could get by Nemechek, and then around he goes. Nikki: EXACTLY what I was doing, Amy. Toni: Although I feel terrible for Bobby too. He needed that win a lot more than Johnson did. But then needing the wins doesn’t get you one. Schrader needs one worse than anybody out there and I’m still waiting on it. Tom: I can’t imagine what a win would have done for the whole Gibbs organization.
