Who stars in Mira Nairs “Amelia,” as the famed aviator Amelia Earhart?
Fox Searchlight has just debuted the trailer for Mira Nair’s Amelia, the biopic starring Hilary Swank as Amelia Earhart. In addition to Swank, this also stars Ewan McGregor, Richard Gere, Virginia Madsen, Joe Anderson, Christopher Eccleston, and Mia Wasikowska. I will admit that I think Amy Adams plays a much cuter Amelia Earhart (in Night at the Museum 2), but Swank plays a much more realistic one. This looks like a great biopic but not much more. I’m sure it’ll still be a wonderful film, as Mira Nair is a talented filmmaker, but like with The Aviator, I don’t expect to love it. Anyway, let us know what you think of this!
