A. Anyone can take them. Your LAS Orientation confirmation letter (sent in April) indicates if you are required to take the math placement assessments based on your intended major and your ACT or SAT scores. MOST math and science related majors require their students to take math placement assessments, so if you are Open Option and considering a major in those areas, we suggest you take them.
