If you are buying spring water in bottles, then they are tested by the government for purity, and are the purists water you can drink today, you have to read the side of the bottle to see if it is pure spring water. There are other brands of water out there. like what is put out by Pepsi, etc. that are not spring water, and it will tell you on the side of the bottle. This water is Tap water that you would drink out of your faulcit, but it has been run through a filter to take out all the germs and other micro things that make the water more pure.
