Who thinks Hugo Chavez will reform the Venezuelan constitution so lifetime reelection is included?
I certainly think Chavez will reform the Venezuelan constitution to allow for lifetime “reelection”. The politics are so corrupt down there though, thats its not even re-election so I have to put it in quotes because their process shouldn’t even be called an election its so corrupt. Chavez is nothing more than a crazy dictator, and of course he will want to stay in power for life. The only difference between him and past dictators is that he is trying to learn from their mistakes. This he does by trying to make his people very happy with him at the beginning (like the 6-hour work days you referenced). He has different motives though, and they will shine through over time.
