Who volunteers? Will volunteers with The NOLA Tree interact with volunteers from other groups?
In 2010, most volunteers will be between the ages of 15 and 19. The NOLA Tree will accept volunteers over the age of 19, as long as they agree to abide by the guidelines set forth in the organization’s Code of Conduct Contract (see question 17). While working with lowernine.org, St. Bernard Project, and Operation Nehemiah, as well as while staying at Camp Hope, volunteers with The NOLA Tree will have the opportunity to meet many other volunteers, including members of Americorps who help maintain Camp Hope.
