Who was involved in organising this strategy development process?
AThe Board of LCC set up a working group chaired by Jon Hoare. Other members included LCC chair Ian Callaghan, former chair Crispin Truman, and Theresa Hoenig. The new chief executive, Koy Thompson, is also a member. The group was advised by our strategy consultant, Sheila Marsh (see her homepage by following the link on the right). Following the September events, the group expanded to include further volunteers from the membership, staff and at least one external stakeholder. The groups role was to maximise the involvement of LCCs members, stakeholders, staff and board in the process of drafting the plan. Working with LCCs staff team, it presented its draft plan to LCCs Board, staff, members and stakeholders, and made recommendations to the Board for approval.
