Richie Rich is an American fashion designer and celebutante. Rich was born in California. In high school Rich went by the name Richie Eichorn. He was an avid ice skater, often proclaiming his desire to go to the Olympics. On the music stage at the 1992 Folsom Street Fair, Richie Rich performed, singing a song he had written called Go-Go Dancer. Soon after that he moved to New York City. In the mid 1990s, Rich was a staple on the New York City club kid scene, and made a cameo appearance in James St. James’s club kid film Party Monster. Richie Rich was also featured as one of the club kids on the Jane Whitney Show where G.G. Allin was the main guest, and club kids were shown as pillars of independent, non violent free thought. Today he is part of the fashion duo known as Heatherette (together with Traver Rains). Rich is openly gay.
