Romeo is a fictional character created by William Shekespeare in the play titled “Romeo and Juliet”. He is the son and heir of Montague and Lady Montague. He is about sixteen years old, handsome and sensitive. He lives in the middle of a violent feud between his family and the Capulets, but he is not at all interested in violence. His only interest is love. He falls in love with a woman named Juliet. She is the daughter of his father’s worst enemy. After Juliet is forced to marry another man by her family, she fakes her own death. Romeo believes that she truly died so he drinks a poison and dies.
