Who Was The First Person To Introduce Electrical Trains?
Electric Train is basically a train which is powered by electricity. These trains are faster than the trains that are run on steam or coal. The electricity is provided to these trains through external sources such as overhead lines, third rail etc or an electricity storage device is also sometimes used. Electric Train was the idea of a Scotsman Robert Davidson who belonged to Aberdeen. He made the first electric locomotive in the year 1837. This was powered by galvanic cells. The first electric train, however, was made by Werner von Siemens in the year 1879. This train was powered by a 2.2 KW Motor. The train has a speed of 13 kilometers per hour.
