Who was your fav lead singer from the band Kansas?
Lynn Meredith was not in Kansas. He was in 2 earlier versions of the band but he is not considered to be a member of this band. The voice you’re hearing is Steve Walsh, my personal favorite singer. Kansas had 4 lead singers in the course of the band. Steve Walsh and Robby Steinhardt switched between different songs. But when Walsh left the band in ’82, John Elefante replaced him. They disbanded in ’83. After the reformation in ’86, Walsh has stayed with the band as the lead singer. And since Steindart left in ’07, Billy Greer now sings his parts. Also, Wayward son has been covered by many different bands.
