Sasil and Cecilia Dow were the first indigenous Australians to work for the AOG Church in PNG. They worked in the East Sepik province at Jambitanget AOG Mission between 1969 and 1982. Sasil died in a car accident in Townsville Queensland Australia in 2000 and Cecilia died of heart failure at the Townsville General hospital on the 11th of June 2003.
