Who were the lotus eaters in the odyssey?
The Lotus Eaters are creatures that feast off of the plant that is made off of the island. The plant is a flower that tastes like honey. Whoever eats the plant, will want to stay forever and feast off of it. Some of Odessus’ men ate the plant and Odessus had to strap them down to the ship. The plant (the Lotus) has magical properties, which makes the feaster want to have it forever.
