Who will be crowned the Sovereigns of Tinsel Town?
Hollywood, and for that matter the rest of the movie mad planet, are all abuzz and for good reason. The 81st edition of the elitist of Tinsel Town’s movie honours, the Academy Awards, are due to be presented to the men and women who have set the world alight with their direction and performances. This year the Best Movie category has a number of excellent nominations and it is going to be a tough decision for the judges on the day. The Curious Case of Benjamin Button has been nominated 13 times, more than any other feature film out there this year. Adapted from the 1920’s tale, penned by one of the leading American novelists, F Scott Fitzgerald, it is a story of a man born in his 80’s who ages backwards.
