VERONA — The V.V.S. FFA will be sponsoring a Haunted Hayride and Creepy Cabin haunted house on Friday and Saturday nights from 7-9:30 p.m. beginning Oct. 9. The haunted frenzy features a 20-minute hayride through scenic woods and a terrifying walk in a 1,000 square foot Creepy Cabin. Featured scenes include the flaming car, chainsaw house, blackhole, train wreck, fog bog and more. New this year, members of the Vernon Fire Department join in the scares to provide an absolutely awesome Halloween treat. The cost of admission is $6 per person for hayride, $4 per person for the Creepy Cabin and a special twin pack for $8. The Haunted Hayride is located on TownLine Road in between State Route 26 and State Route 31. For more information contact the V.V.S. FFA at 829-2520. The event runs until October 30.
