When you compare someone to MJ, you have to consider alot of things (just to name a few things:heart, athleticism, skill, determination, ability to maximize his teammates abilities, etc.). MJ was not only one the greatest clutch players offensively, but he was probably one of the greatest defensive clutch players ever. Neither Kobe or Lebron has matched the effort, and intensity that Michael had to dominate both ends of the floor day in and day out. To put it plainly, there will never be another MJ. Physically speaking, and skill wise Kobe comes the closest (and he is the only one that has been able to consistently dominate throughout the whole season year in and year out), but up until now he hasn’t proven that he has the heart and mental drive to win that MJ had. He also has not shown, thus far, the ability get the most out of his teammates that MJ was able to do. The obvious answer would either be LeBron James or Kobe Bryant. However, the fact is that there will never be another Jordan. The reason why I say this is because good/great players are incomparable because they played in different time eras. Just like there will never be another Magic Johnson or Larry Bird. These players paved the way for Jordan just as Jordan paved the way for Bryant and James. While the NBA has a lot of great players in the game today, there will never be another Michael Jordan.
