Who will mentor me on my conversion to Islam?
Please study Islam before converting. By that I mean study it WITHOUT any outside feedback at all. Just pick up a copy of the Koran (Pickthal and Dawood are good translations to English) and read it all. Do understand that the Koran is NOT in chronological or contextual order, it is arranged from longest to shortest Sura but know that you are reading something NOT in a consistent timeline. Mecca came before Medina and that fact has a lot to do with how it is interpreted. I think after you read it all you will understand why Mohammad did what he did (rape, murder, child sex, slavery, robbery, genocide and hatred of anything NOT Islamic) and the reasons behind his thinking. Also it would be good for you to read the Hadiths (Bukhari is the most trusted) as well as the Sunnah, both these works fill in all the blanks about Mohammad. When you see the truth< I believe you will run from Islam. God bless you.
