Who would win a gorilla or a gorilla sized ant?
Ants do not have lungs, but spiracles, so it can never reach above a certain size because it could not receive sufficient oxygenation to achieve a gorilla’s size, these are simply tubes that extend from the blood system to the outside of the abdomen, and oxygen is transported by the pulsing of the body making air transmission, possible by disturbing the air in the tubes, like a fan system , it is severely inadequate for high volume transfer of oxygen. All that being said, the ant has a limited, frontal approach, defence and attack capability, and is severely limited as an individual in it’s tactical nous, ( sense ), and as such it is guided by the group attack method, i.e. it would respond to the group needs, because it has no real sense of self, this may result in an appearance of being self sacrificing in it’s approach, i.e. it will sacrifice as an individual.
