Who wrote Genesis: Adam or Eve?
Some people think that Adam did in fact write part of Genesis. The book of Genesis is made up of various parts, all ending with a verse like Genesis 5 verse 1 for example, “this is the book (or account) of Adam. It may well be that Adam wrote the preceding chapters. Genesis as a whole was probably put together out of these separate accounts that were written by those directly involved. You could say that Moses made a “Mosaic” out of these different “books”. There is a parrallel in the new testament, for instance with the Gospel of Luke, where the writer drew on first hand accounts of the events of Jesus’s life.
