Who wrote the lyrics for Simon and Garfunkel?
The Simon and Garfunkel collected works CD lists Paul Simon as the only song writer, for all of Simon and Garfunkel’s original songs. Art Garfunkel only gets a writers credit on two recordings, Scarborough Fair/Canticle, which is an adaption of a very old folk song, and Voices of Old People which is recordings of people in retirement homes talking. Looks like your father is wrong.
