Who’s Driving Dotty?
Driving Dotty are Hannah, Caroline & Christophe who are taking part in this years Mongol Rally in aid of Operation Smile. They are setting off from Goodwood on the 18th July 2009 and driving an ambulance to Ulan Bator the capital of Mongolia in aid of Operation Smile. The Mongol Rally is not for the faint hearted, there is no back-up no support, no set route adventure. Our intrepid team will take on up to 15 countries and 10,000 miles’ worth of mountains, deserts, bad roads, no roads, bandits and various other pickles. The team had planned to follow a route across Europe to Turkey (this first leg should be pretty straightforward) and then through Iran (or not), Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan and Russia to reach their destination in Mongolia. The friends have also had the ingenious idea of selling advertising dots (hence the name) of all sizes.
