ULS and ASR are consistent in the way that you enter latitude and longitude and in the way that the system displays them. In both, data entry and display is to a tenth of a degree. Why do I need to put latitude/longitude information on the second location site if I have a tower registration number? Why can’t I just put the Antenna Structure Registration number and have the system pull the information? ULS is programmed to pull Antenna Structure Registration (ASR) information for transmit locations only. Since the FCC required only coordinates and AMSL for receive locations, programming was not included to pull ASR information for receivers.
