Why am I getting a black screen on my Panasonic ShowStopper Hard Disk Recorder?
Your menu options may not be correct. Check menu options in the setup menu. Make sure the input selections in the menu match what is connected on the back of the Showstopper. Check your video connections. If you are using a satellite or cable box, ensure that the device is powered on. Also check to make sure the correct output channel is selected for the Cable/Satellite box (ch.3 or ch.4). If all is verified and correct, press and hold down the power button on the front of the machine until you see the words “Please Wait a Few Moments”.
