Why and how was ths FSA Skills Catalog created?
Increased individual and organizational performance relies on successful workforce planning and a foundation of identified skills and competencies needed for FSA to succeed. These are the concepts on which the Skills Catalog has been based. The Skills Catalog not only defines competencies critical for organizational success, but also enables employees to better control their career development. The FSA Skills Catalog was originally created in 2000 and has been updated through a series of working sessions with the general managers of each of FSA’s business units, followed by sessions with subject matter experts within the units.
