Why are animals and Plants Classified?

0

It is impotant to understand familial relationships between certain animals and plants. There are strange relationships – Solignum which included the Deadly Nightshade, a highly poisinous plat, and the potatoe which is a staple food. There may be relationships between certain types of animals that is not immediately apparent until a proper classification has been made. Note there is plenty of room for dispute in classifying anything – the definition of a species is of a group which cannot breed with other species – but even ten there are exceptions such as dogs and cyotes, separate species which can interbreed.
