Why are bettas kept in small containers?
They are kept in small containers as they do not require much space. In their natural environment, they can be found in small puddles of water in the padi fields. Another reason is that they have the labyrinth organ, which allows them to breath air. But the main reason is that shop owners try to minimize the space that they take up by doing so.
