I’m Canadian, and I think the Canadian customs officers are ruder than the yanks border patrol are. It’s like they are disappointed that they have to get off their butts and do some actual work now that you’re there inconveniencing them… typical govt employees. Only close to 9/11 was I ever disappointed with the yanks… and I guess it was understandable to take security seriously, but I had a couple of marines with automatic weapons pointed at me… didn’t appreciate that one bit.
