Electrolux have been around since the early 20th century and produce inceredily good vacuum cleaners. Formed from two companies, Elektromekaniska and Lux, this Swedish brand really is conquering the world in the domestic appliances market. 1. Electrolux was one of the first mass producers of domestic appliances, and built the first Electrolux vacuum cleaners in the 1920s. 2. Electrolux’s mission is to provide a cleaner and healthier home. As well as vacuums, the company also produces washing machines, fridges, dishwashers and cookers, so that there is an Electrolux product to meet every requirement, in every home. 3. These products are simple yet intelligent and effective. The company’s founder, Axel Wenner-Gren was a sales and marketing master, and the products were inititally offered with instalment payment plans which made them more appealing to customers.
