Why are lawyers' salaries so high?

Depends on what you call high. OJ paid his lawyers 1.7 million only if they got hinm off. They did and so they were worth it. Yes he got creamed in a civil trial, but what's the monentary loss comapred to freedom and getting away with murder. Those lawyers sure did their jobs well.
