Why are my left pinky and ring finger numb?

It sounds like you’ve done something to your ulnar nerve. It innervates the muscles that go to your pinky and ring finger. Perhaps you’ve irritated it by putting too much pressure on it or you could have carpel tunnel syndrome which affects your ulnar nerve. Your ulnar nerve generally travels down the inner part of your elbow (if you are looking at your arm with palms facing upwards) to your wrist. Try seeing if you tend to lean on that part of your elbow or if you are putting pressure on your wrist. Sometimes it can go away on it’s own if you stop irritating your nerve. If it doesn’t, then you should consult a doctor.
