They are completely different. Being microscopic doesn’t matter. Organisms in the Kingdom Monera are unicellular – they are the only group of living organisms made of Prokaryotic cells, meaning they are made of cells without a nucleus. Protista are more complex, made up of Eukaryotic cells.
