Why are people so harsh on hispanic immigration?

Because our schools are being ruined by their sheer numbers, lack of English and their poverty. Poor people CAN’T pay in taxes the $10,000 per year per child it costs to educate a child in K-12. That is why the number of poor immigrants is limited to ANY country that subsidizes services for its poor. It is not that we are immune to compassion for these people, (which is why that universal ‘racist’ response to a border security possition carries no sting.) It is just that it was a lot easier to be compassionate when there were fewer of them and their impact on our schools and services wasn’t so immense. You can’t put that many kids who don’t speak English and whose parents are themselves uneducated and who wouldn’t be here if their parents hadn’t come illegally into a single school district like LAUSD (as one example) and not expect HUGE impacts on the school system. In LA, having gone through what was once a model school system myself, I am watching anyone who can mortgage their house

you say ‘ you know how they think’ well that’s good, that’s a lot more than most people know, but the problem is they are thinking through the lens of their own ethnicity, You see pro-immigration Hispanic groups only care about Hispanics,,,they want compassion and human rights,,but only for ‘their people’ you have to take emotion and ethnic pride out of your heart if you want to look at this issue in a practical sense,, I am from a Hispanic ghetto myself and I have been in your shoes, making decisions based on an emotional, but not a practical way, when you judged political issues with emotions and ethnic pride,,,you become extremely biased and self centered, not to mention racist,, I know it’s hard to stomach, but racism comes from ignorance,,most racist,,,do not intend to be racists,,and they become one without knowing, change your questions to all immigrants,,or all illegals, not just hispanics and we will have something, start researching the history of immigration in this country,
