Why Are Quentin Tarantino Movies So Violent?

Because that’s the type of film he likes to make. But his movies tend to not be violent just for the sake of being violent. The violence is usually twisted around an interesting story and top notch dialog. One thing to keep in mind is that you have to separate a real QT film like Inglourious Basterds or Pulp Fiction from something he as just lent his name to like Hostel. He actually wrote and made Pulp Fiction, Jackie Brown, Resevoir Dogs, Kill Bill, etc. But with movies like Hostel, he’s just lent his name for the sake of marketing.
