Why are recruitment companys just so poor at there job?
Unfortunately the job vacancies have dried up! Very few firms are expanding due the financial problems/uncertainty. Even people leaving/dying aren’t being replaced. The job you saw advertised was probably pulled by the company! No point in “reporting” the Company, it is not going to help you! The recruitment firms are a service company only. They can only work on vacancies given to them. Like Estate Agents you will find Recruitment Companies start disappearing as they are generally a sign of a growing economy! If you know who the company was you could offer to work freelance for them on commission. Or any other company where you have knowledge. It is a whole new world now. Self sufficiency will be the strong point in survival! If you know your previous companies competitors approach them as your contacts could be worth a lot to them.
