Why Are Some People Short Sighted?
“Short Sighted” actually refers to something other than actual visual acuity. It means they consider only the immediate situation or the immediate effects of an action. An example would be eating some extra dessert while ignoring the long-term damage to your health. ‘The ‘short’ refers to time rather than distance.
