Why are some products no longer Free? Why has the Syn value of some products changed?

The new method (launched 2004) allows us to calculate far more accurately the true amount of basic Free Food in a product, and therefore more accurately calculating the Syn value of the remaining ingredients. The effect this has had overall is that 84% of products have stayed the same, 9% have decreased in Syns and only 7% have increased!
