SESSA teachers are paid according to the School Teachers’ Pay and Conditions Document. This stipulates that supply teachers are expected to undertake directed time, i.e. work outside contact time. You can therefore expect a SESSA teacher to work a full school day, which, as we all know, is often more than 5.5 hours.
