ENERGY STAR is a recognized rating system throughout North America for energy-using appliances and equipment that denotes high efficiency products. The system replacement rebate offered as part of the Every Kilowatt Counts C Heating and Cooling Rebate Program is limited to ENERGY STAR qualified systems in order to encourage residents to purchase high efficiency products that exceed minimum efficiency standards.
