Why are the snickers wrappers pinkish?

The packaging looks vintage, and its suppose to commemorate the Snickers candy bar when it was first launched back in the 1930’s (This 75th year commemorative packaging is more than likely temporary, and in celebration of the occasion). (While standing in line at the store, I also noticed the Snickers display and packaging. This info. was, in part printed on the box) FYI: Mars candy co. has existed for a very long time, and very proud of their products. Packaging and change of packaging is a marketing strategy that promotes/generates sales and their continued success. Mars (like their competitor Hershey’s Chocolate) maintains a very proud and long established track record of success. Hershey’s chocolates for example, has done the same several times with their Hershey’s chocolate bars.
