Why are you helping Long Beach instead of places in the world with more needs, like war zones and impoverished nations?
The Grace Brethren community is committed to helping those in need, regardless of where they’re from. We have a long-term relationship with charitable communities in Burkina Faso and Uganda, for example. But we also believe we should live out the gospel where we live, and the city of Long Beach has numerous needs we can meet.
