Public leagues will not allow scoring for individual players on special team stats, but in private leagues the commissioner can make the change by going to the Scoring System page, via the Commissioner Tools. There is an option in the Advanced Scoring Options to Credit Players with Special Team Stats, by checking the box, individual players will get credit for special team stats.
