Why buy the Tutorial Set? Doesn it cost big bucks? ($30.00 in the Combo deal.
It amazes me that folks will think nothing of starting a boat-building project that will, realistically, cost more than $20-30,000 and not want to get some extra help with the designer’s ideas that were incorporated in the plan they are paying a whole $17.00 for. The $30.00 (in the Combo price) for the Tutorial Set itself buys a binder full of Tips and Advice, Material sizes and weights (called “Scantlings”), Lofting-made easy instructions, Step-by-Step Construction in all materials, Planning-to-build details, and Fitting-out and Breaking-in steps and advice. For the price of 8 or 9 gallons of diesel fuel the designer’s intent is spelled out in detail.
