Why can the Plugin get or put data (formula, molecular weight etc.) in Netscape 6.0?
Netscape 6.0 abandoned the “Live Connect” technology used by earlier versions of Netscape, and introduced the XPCOM technology to exchange data between plugins and web pages. Fortunately, Netscape 6.1 adds new code to let old plugin work with small changes. We do not support the use of Netscape 6.0, but do support Netscape 6.1. 3.
