In order for a plastic surgeon to become board certified, they have to go through a long, demanding process. It is not something that can be purchased. It is not a 6-month long process; it is a process that takes years. That is why there are so many more plastic surgeons that are not board certified. Plastic Surgeons willing to invest that amount of time, studying and studying more, and on top of that passing the tests, and then following the comprehensive rules set forward, in our opinion, deserve the respect that brings.  more
